Congrats to Mariah and Nick Cannon

In a candid interview with Access Hollywood (in her NYC home) Mariah Carey announced that she is in fact pregnant and is really excited. Her hubby popped in the interview a little later stating that he is also excited about the news. Mariah suffered a miscarriage with her first pregnancy (and hold only told one person). She also revealed that she does not want to know what the sex is and is in fact excited to be surprise on the day of delivery. Congrats to the couple from Pereception & Co.

Beauty Secrets Revealed

Lovies it is always wise to make sure your make-up bag is fresh and fab. In order to do this it is important to clean your make-up bag out on a regular basis and replenish your must haves. I am going o help you out so pay careful attention.

Eyeshadow

• Needs to be replaced every 3 months

• Whenever possible use disposable brushes (but make sure you actually dispose of them)

Lipstick/LipGloss/LipBalm

• Needs to be replaced once a year
• Oil based lip products don't have water so you can hold onto them a little longer than a year

Foundation

• Needs to be replaced every 6 to 12 months
• Once open and exposed to air (and stored in bathroom where it is dark and moist) it is easy for foundation to breed bacteria (and cause infections)

Blushes

• Needs to be replaced every 2 years
• Cream blushes have a shorter life span due to the liquid base
• Blushes get hard when they can no longer be used
• Clean blush brushes by running them on a dry paper towel daily
• Shampoo blush brushes every 2 weeks
• Store blush brushes upright

Sassy Stylish Shoe: Kim Kardashian's CL

Kim Kardashian celebrated her 30th Birthday by having several parties all week long up to and including the latest that took place last night in NYC. At one of her many parties (this one took place at Tao Nightclub), Kim rocked a Silver metallic dress with matching spiked and studded Christian Louboutins. The shoes were a gift from Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian. Kim stated "they are dangerous". I would have to agree, they are dangerous but absolutely to DIE for. What are your thoughts?

Happy Halloween: Costumes

Halloween is rapidly approaching so I figured I would help my lovies out. Although I will not be dressing up for Halloween (not my cup of tea, honey) I want to give you some ideas on how to channel your favorite celeb. Here are some looks that will be sure to get you Best Halloween Costume of the evening. Remember the most important thing is to be safe!

The first set of costumes are that of the ladies of Sex And The City 2. Channel your inner Miranda, Samantha, Carrie or Charlotte. I wont go into detail for these looks because there are so many so you choose. This is a great idea for a group of friends.

Kim Kardashian is another great idea for a costume. You will need to get a form fitting dress to show off your ASSets(Kim is wearing a dress from her line with BEBE). For this look you will also need a pair of 4" heels or higher along with drastic make-up, a high shine gloss and sleek yet simple jet black locks.

For your Rihanna costume you want to wear a tuxedo. The easiest approach is to get any tuxedo male or female and have it tailored. To get a much more intense look add heightened shoulder pads.

Lady Gaga is one of the most sought after costumes of the year. So much, she has now created her own costume line. If you want to be a little more creative and take on the task yourself picture above are some of her simple yet fashion forward looks.

The no longer single lady Beyonce is a fun yet daring costume to wear for Halloween. This look calls for some simple pieces a unitard, a snooki hump (for hair), 5" heels, bold eye make-up, and the infamous Sasha Fierce gloves. Here is a little side note for you....add a HUGE diamond to your left ring finger.

Miss Spandex aka Amber Rose's look is a pretty easy one to capture. Over sized sunglasses, red lips (or any colored lip stick) white tee and shiny spandex. Don't forget to finish your look up with a drool worthy pair of shoes.

Marvelous Misses: Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson has loss a ton of weight and she looks absolutely FAB most importantly she is healthy. Jennifer Hudson choose to use the unconventional method of Hollywood to get healthy (Weight Watchers). Most celebs opt for plastic surgery, binging and purging amongst other life threatening methods. I am truly proud of her accomplishments, this one being the best yet. Jennifer's determination has awarded her an astounding weight loss (from a size 22 to a current size 6). Congrats Jennifer.....You are officially a Marvelous Miss!

Throw It In The Bag

On this edition of "Throw It In The Bag" I'm going to share my Fall/Winter purchases. Today I shopped and shopped and shopped some more with my mom. Spending time with her is always a blast and the both of us getting great items on sale is even better. Here are a few of the items I purchased today.....

Ellen Tracey Cognac Riding Boots (priced at $228)

Cognac leather vest lined with shearling (priced at $69.95)....Be sure to add a piece to your wardrobe. Check out my previous shearling post to get other looks for the winter.

I-N-C Stretch Pant Legging (Priced at $129) I absolutely love these pants. They are super thick which is perfect for the winter. P.S. make sure you look closely at the detailing of the pant on the knees as well as the zipper on the back.....Yummy!

Black Suede Ann Taylor Loft Booties (priced at $118)

These leather gloves were a must have for the winter, fashion forward yet warm and cozy.
