Beyonce graces the cover of FHM Russia's February 2010 issue. Say what you may, Beyonce is a bad mother ((shut yo mouth)). I could do without the oil and shiny effect. But who cares is Beyonce damn it.

New Video-Usher "Hey Daddy"

I dont usually post videos, however I am in love with this song "Hey Daddy" by Usher. I feel like I am contradicting myself a little because I told a group of my closest friends that I never understood why woman would call their significant other "Daddy". Than along comes Usher and it doesnt sound to bad coming from him....but what does? I love Usher...He is absolutely one of Muff's Magnificent Men.! The girls will just have to understand. WAIVERRRRRRRRRRR!

Trend Alert-Flower Power

Flower inspired designs are one of the "it" trends for 2010. Making a comeback since 2008 whether they're bright, bold, big or small floral trends are fashionable this season. I used to be under the impression that flowers were for grannies but my thoughts are now altered. Flowers have come a long way since being dowdy and blah. Here are some pieces I found that you can easily add to your wardrobe. From Burberry to DVF to Carla Kiely and all the way to Marc Jacobs blooming season is here.

Who's Up Next-Leah Taylor

Who is Leah Taylor? You may or may not know Leah Taylor but if you do not know her now you will shortly. Leah Taylor one half of the dynamic duo of Taylor Ector Studios (her brother Rob Ector, a well-known photographer is co-owner) has been styling for years but Fashion has been her life since before she could spell the word or understand the meaning. Born in Cleveland, Ohio residing in Atlanta, Georgia Leah took time out of her hectic schedule to sit down and speak with me about where she began, where she is now and where she plans to be in the future.

What made you want to become a stylist?

"I have always been into Fashion. My mom was a Visual Merchandiser when I was younger and she was one of the most stylish woman I had ever seen. My Mom would Boutique shop when I was younger. Along with my Mom my Grandmother and Aunt both played a part in my love for Fashion."

How long have you been styling?

"I have been styling all together for approximately 7-10 years. I began putting clothes on people in 2003 but I have been doing my own thing for 2 years."

Who are some of your clients?

" I have worked with the Real Housewives Atlanta Nene Leakes, Lisa Wu Hartwell, and Sheree Whitfield. I have also worked with Lala Vasquez, Tiny Cottle and Toya Carter from The Tiny and Toya Show on BET. I also worked with Keyshia Knight Pulliam, Jazze Pha and J.J. Hickson of the Cleveland Cavaliers."

What are some of your tips on becoming a great Stylist?

"You have to be able to think outside of th box. Most importantly you have to know your fashion history 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's. You have to know what trend is in. I have to make sure I am constantly reading magazines and stayin on top of what is the new up and coming item. I have to make sure I know who is wearing what.

When did you have your "Anh Hah" moment? When did you know you had what it took to be a Stylist?

"I was working on Welcome to Dreamland a reality show on BET with a new artist Kia Hampton. This gave me the ability to work with an aspiring artist and create a look from head to toe. She walked on stage to perform and I knew than that this was my calling. When she walked out on stage you would have thought she was already a celebrity and had a record contract. Another moment was when I dressed Young Jeezy. I gave him some military shirts that I had made and he wore them. I knew than that this was where I needed to be"

Who is your favorite designer?

"WOW I have a ton of designers I love but right now I would have to go with Alexander Wang, Gucci, Jason Wuu and Balenciaga."

What is Leah's WOW piece right now?

"I would have to say I love handbags and shoes. But to be more specific my galaxy bag by Gucci. It was a Christmas gift and I am in love with it."

What's in store for Leah in 2010?

"Traveling, lots of traveling. I want to go to Miami and NYC to scout out High Fashion Models. Although there are great Models in Atlanta I want to broaden my portfolio. Most importantly I want to brand the name Tayor Ector Studio."

Legs, Legs and More Legs

I am a huge fan of leggings but like tweed they have to be done right. If you choose to be lazy with a pair of leggings PLEASE be on your way to work out. Otherwise leggings have the potential to look frumpy and sloppy. Leggings can be a great finishing touch to an outfit. You can rock them to the mall, to hang with the ladies or with your man (or s/o), dinner or out on the town. Here are a few of the dopest and trendiest leggings thus far. DO rock them correctly and at your own risk. IM WATCHING....

Tweed Done Right

Tweed is a pretty touchy subject for most people who love fashion. Its hated by many but liked by some. For a long time my friends (Milz included) have assumed that I hate tweed because I constantly gag when I see a piece. So.....my divas and divos I LOVE TWEED as I do many other fabrics HOWEVER, it has to be a GREAT piece. Here are some of my favorite tweed pieces. See I really do love tweed but I will not be bamboozled by a fake fabric look-a-like nor will I accept a poorly constructed piece. That will never receive a waiver but these pieces will forever be loved!

Muff Mouthing Off....

Divas and Divos one of my fave couples are said to be getting hitched. The ever so creative and handsome Marc Jacobs is rumored to be marrying his long time Brazilian boyfriend Lorenzo Martone. The couple got engaged back in March and have been going strong since. I personally do not see how anyone can dictate who should or should not get married. Love does not discriminate so why should we.....GO FOR IT!

Lanvin for Women Spring/Summer 2010

Lanvin is back at it again. Here are two of the sneakers debuting for Spring/Summer 2010. They are definitely a splurge....but for the sneak freaks I say go for it. Although I love footwear these are not saying much to me and the hefty price tag is putting a major damper on things. However, to eash is own and if they make your heart skip a beat be sure to check out http://www.lanvin.com/ for more colors and styles. Do no hold your breathe for a Waiver....there isnt one coming!

V Magazine Size Issue

Due to hit shelves January 14th V Magazine's Size Issue (v63) has already began receiving whispers. The controversy issue showcases 5 plus size models with real curves. The controversial whispers stem from the comparison of two models: a plus size and straight model Christina Renn (established plus-size) and Jacquelyn Jablonski (newcomer-high fashion). Some are saying "why does there have to be a high fashion model side by sidewith a plus size model"? I say (being plus size) anything you can do I can do better and from the looks of it Christina Renn is a force to be wreckoned with!

The layout entitled "One Size Fits All" by Photographer Terry Richardson is absolutely amazing. This shoot is the equivalent of fresh air. The average woman is a size 14 however, you seldomly witness a magazine who has the guts to shoot A REAL WOMAN. Kudos to V Magazine for going out on a limb. Where they wrong for the comparison and contrast is to be determined by readers. In my opinion I think the images are creative and well-thought. The obvious purpose o the shoot to empower woman by pushing the message size does not matter. I love.....

Measurements:
Christina: 5 ft 9 in 36/34/41
Jacquelyn: 5 ft 9 in 32/24/34
