Mia Fonssagrives-Solow New York City Skyline Cuff is a brilliant work of art. Being a native New Yorker makes me appreciate this fine jewelry so much more. Mia Fonssagrives-Solow is known for her one of a kind sculptor-jewelery. There is no doubt in my mind after seeing this cuff that we both share a passion for NYC.

Have You Seen Fatima: Coifed by Tracy Balan at Rocawear Showroom

Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the Coifed by Tracy Balan Event at Rocawear Showroom in NYC. When we arrived we were greeted by the cutest child/hostess ever and brought to the step and repeat. After our photos were taken we walked into the showroom to an amazing hair exhibit. I have to say this event was one of a kind and it was evident that it took hardwork and dedication. The Models were strategically placed on podiums, topless but covered with unique body paint. (Kudos to the Models for standing in one spot for hours). There was some tasty hor' derves (my fave was the jerk chicken), ginger drinks (by Witches Brew) and the entertainment consisted of a contemporary violinist who accompanied a DJ. All guests departed with a heartfelt thank you from Celebrity Hair Stylist Tracy Balan and her crew along with a "goodie" bag. I had an absolute blast.
What I wore:
Blazer: Faith 21
Shoes: Steve Madden Wedges
Clutch: Steve Madden
Jeans: Source of Wisdom: London Street Skinny Jeans
Earrings: H&M

New York Fashion Week: Herv'e Le'ger by Max Azria
Max Azria has swooned me again. Azria most known for the banage dress, which is popular amongst all fashionistas has gone a step further. From leather lace like paneled dresses, to corsets and bustle skirts channeling the 18th Century this collection has it all. I'm eager to see who will be the first A or B Lister to debut one of these looks on the red carpet or a night on the town. This is my favorite collection for Spring 2011. Below are more looks.....Thoughts?New York Fashion Week: L.A.M.B.
Marvelous Misses and Style Icon Gwen Stefani pictured here with her handsome hubby Gavin Rossdale closed New York Fashion Week with her L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 Collection. Stefani's tribal influenced with a rocker flair collection did not dissapoint. Rocker mom Stefani also brought out her handsome youngster Kingston to strut his stuff on the catwalk. Stars including Kanye West came out to support Stefani's Spring 2011 debut. Take a peek at some of the looks below. This was one of my favorite New York Fashion Week collections.Tuesday, August 31, 2010

New York...New York

According to Reuters Life, NEW YORK has come back with a vengence to regain their title. New York is #1 for the world's top fashion capitals. New York held the title of top fashion city for 5 years until Milan came for the throne last year. Hong Kong, London, Paris and Los Angeles follow NY as the top fashion cities while Asia and Australia are not too far behind. Milan, Sydney, Miami, Barcelona and Madrid are all in the top 10 fashion cities as well. I am proud to have been born and raised in a city where FASHION is a major part of people's lives. I LOVE NY!
