FATionista's at LARGE: Item of the Week

During my latest shopping spree also known as Cyber Monday I found the perfect red jeans by @Eloquii. Besides red being one of the most sought after colors forecast for Winter these pants fit like a glove (and have 1% spandex for a little forgiveness). The most important factors when buying jeans are the fit and the comfortableness. If you for whatever reason are not familiar as of yet with Eloquii check out their site (Eloquii.com) for other great finds.

Trend Alert: Varsity Jackets

One of the hottest trends this Fall is the Varsity jacket. Your Dad wore one in Junior high, high school and college and now we can too. The tailored cut of the jacket is much more feminine than the ones the jocks wore back in high school but still has the same tradition. The new look of the varsity jackets are a lot less tough with added zippers and buttons making it versatile. The greatest thing about the varsity jacket is its comfortable and preppy style works on ALL body types. During my recent trip to Vegas I purchased a Varsity Jacket (navy and blue) and I am excited for a cold day to sport it. Thoughts Lovies?

Green is the New Black

Green is the new black and I am ecstatic about it. Green is one of my fave colors (besides Navy and Magenta) and it is all the rave this season. Adding jade or emerald colored pieces to your wardrobe lineup will not only give you richness from a jewel tone but green glam.

The shoes pictured above are Jeffrey Campbell (priced at $180). You can purchase them here but they will not be shipped until October (mine are already preorderd). Thoughts Lovies?

Trend Alert: Maxi Dress

The effortlessly sleek maxi dress is back for the Summer Season. A maxi dress is a laid back luxe look that can be dressed up or down. Accessories are a key component to taking your simple chic maxi dress to uber glam fairy. Maxi Dress' can range in price depending on the aesthetics. You can spend less or splurge but whatever your choice a maxi is a must have for this Summer.

Amazing Accessory: Tory Burch Verona Sandal

These Tory Burch Sandals are a great must have for the Summer. The gold hardware gives the shoe a popping factor while the olive suede give Tory Burch's multi-strap sandals a luxurious look and feel. Olive, gold, tan, brown are all a great color palette for the perfect military chic look. These sassy stylish shoes are priced at $375 and can be found here. Thoughts Lovies.....

Trend Alert: Espadrilles

From beachy chic to glam girl, espadrilles are the perfect shoe. Comfortable and versatility are 2 major components in choosing a great shoe. Once you have chosen the most suitable espadrilles I can guarantee they will be permanent fixture in your wardrobe. Instead of committing shoeicide with sky high stilettos, this Summer opt for a wedge espadrille that will not only give you the height you crave but the fit you live for. HAPPY SHOPPING!

Trend Alert: Flower Power

Flower Power is all the rave for Spring 2011. We saw it on runways and has now sprung onto the red carpets and step and repeats. It is one of the most repeated trends thus far. Many people assume that because an item is floral you are a girly girl which is far from the truth. This trend is for everyone due to the variety of patterns. Floral can range from bold prints to subtle and delicate blooms.

Tip: Do not over accessorize….opt for pieces that enhance the mood but are not gaudy.
