Khloe Kardashian Covers YRB
My favorite Kardashian has gone edgy for YRB Magazine and we at P & Co love it. Khloe sat down with Perez Hilton and talked about her relationship with hubby Lamar Odom and how they met along with some of her 2011 goals and the public's misconceptions about her.
Perez:
I don’t think you ever talked about it, but how did you and Lamar meet?
Khloe:
I met him at a club. I hosted a “Welcome to the Lakers” party for Ron Artest, and we met there. I was so not interested in him at the time, and I was really rude to him. He asked me to go to IHOP after the party. I went, gave him my number afterwards, and the rest is history.
Perez:
The Kardashian clan has products up the wazoo. Is there a Kardashian app in the works?
Khloe:
What the hell is an app? I wouldn’t even know what or how many things can go on one.
Perez:
What do you feel is the biggest misconception about you?
Khloe:
Hmmmmm. Good question. I’m not sure, but when people meet me they normally have three things to say… 1. ‘Wow you are so tiny. You aren’t fat! Ok…’ Weird, but thanks, I guess? LOL 2. ‘OMG, you are so sweet!’ 3. ‘You aren’t that tall!’ Everyone that I meet thinks I should be 6’3” or taller. So funny, but I guess compared to Kourt and Kim I look super tall. I’m 5’10” and they are about 5’0” and 5’2,” so I do look tall. I’m really just normal and they are tiny little girls. LOL.
Perez:
What do you have in store for us in 2011?
Khloe:
The year is full of surprises. There’s a new show with Lamar and I and a new unisex fragrance that he and I are both sooooo proud of. That’s just a peek.
Perez:
What was your biggest New Year’s resolution, and have you broken it yet?
Khloe:
To be more proactive in my health. I have been soooo good about it! I want to be ahead of the game and really focus on me from the inside out.
Khloe you look absolutely FAB....Kudos for living outside the box and taking a risk. No risk, No reward....Thougts Lovies?

Did You Know: Fashion Fact
Hello Lovies.....I wanted to start a monthly post of little known fashion facts called "Did You Know". I come across fashion info all the time so I figured why not share some of what I hear or learn with you. These post will be some of the most random info you may ever read, it may even have you patting your weave but KNOWLEDGE IS POWER (even if its something you never gave a second thought/glance). So here goes......
Did you know:
- Louis Vuitton uses a needle, linen thread and beeswax to make their bags? The reason they use the beeswax is to protect each overstitch from humidity and wear tear.
This is why I always tell you guys to buy the best handbags.....Firstly, we only live once and secondly a great handbag is an INVESTMENT. Did you know this fashion fact lovies?
P.S. If you have a little known fashion fact that you want to be posted email me at perceptionandco@gmail.com

2011 Golden Globes
Black Swan star Mila Kunis was drop dead gorgeous in a forest green gown by Vera Wang.
Kelly Osbourne looked ravishing in Zac Posen....She has blossomed into a beautiful and fashionable woman.
Anne Hathaway was all glitz and glamour posing in a Giorgio Armani gown. We here at P & Co. are huge Anne fans, so we get really excited when she knocks it out of the park. You did us proud Anne!!!!!
Carrie Underwood wore a champagne colored Badgley Mischka gown which fit her like a glove. She was red carpet ready...
Leighton Meester's vintage inspired dress by Burberry Prorsum looked gorgeous. The added glitz of the gold evening bag completed the look.
Eva Longoria was simply breathtaking to say the least....This Zac Posen dress (and smokey eye)will surely have her on ALL the best dressed list.
Country singer Julianne Hough's jeweled neckline and vintage hair do looked FAB!
Catherine Zeta Jones was in Monique Lhuillier for the globes and the green complimented her skin tone....PERFECTION.
Julie Bowen wore a beautiful creation by Tadashi Shoji.
Now onto the celebs that had us all asking (not in a good way) WHERE/WHO IS YOUR STYLIST?
Olivia Wilde opted for a Marchesa gown with way to much tulle....This is all wrong.
Helena Bonham Carter in Vivenne Westwood and mismatch shoes.....Where is her stylist?
Gabby honey.....((hangs head)) why?
Heidi Klum knows better.....This Marc Jacobs dress is just all wrong.

Quality vs Quantity
- little black dress
- black pumps (must own at least one pair)
- handbags
- pearls (earrings, necklace and/or bracelet)
It is okay to buy inexpensive BASIC and a few TRENDY items but if your ENTIRE wardrobe is full of cheap clothing believe me people will notice. Cheap clothing will have you at the mall every week replacing those same items. Focus on the quality of a garment rather than purchasing a ton of fashion forward clothing. Get into the habit of paying more attention to the seams, stitching, fabric, and fit of items. I hate to make shopping sound difficult but if you want to look your best all the time as well as have long lasting wears than INVEST in good quality clothing. Yes I used the word INVEST because quality clothing is an investment. Can you take the clothes you bought from Forever 21 and re-sell them on ebay? Will you have those same items 5 years from now? Once washed do you get the same feel from those inexpensive clothes? These are questions you should ask yourself prior to purchasing clothing. Again if its a piece here and there (sporadic) than I say go to inexpensive stores but I encourage you to purchase key pieces that cost a pretty penny. It will all be worth it 5 years from now when that Little black dress is still a crisp black. What are your thoughts Lovies?
