Project Runway Live Fashion Show

Calling All New Yorkers....... Project Runway will be taping it's first ever public fashion show on Friday, June 24th at The Esplanade Plaza in Battery Park City. It is open to the general public and you will be able to watch it live!!!! Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia will be in attendance along with a SURPRISE guest judge. Fashion for A Great Cause

One of the most heart sinking episodes of Project Runway is now one of the most inspirational. When designer Mondo Guerra decided to let the world know his HIV+ status I watched and felt chills up my spine. Having worked for a not-for-profit as an HIV Case Manager a while back I was able to come in contact with some amazing people. I was also able to gain a better knowledge about this deadly disease. This disease doesn't discriminate. It knows no race, religion or sexual orientation. Mondo has taken his HIV status and his fashion sense to bring attention to a great cause. The t-shirt shown is one of Guerra's design and $20 of the proceeds will go to amFAR, an organization that focuses on AIDS research.

Project Runway-Season Finale

Tonight is the Season Finale of Project Runway. Carol Hannah, Althea Harper, and Irina Shabayeva are the three finalists duking it out. They will be answering questions live via twitter tonight between 9 and 9:45 pm. @happilyeverCH, @AltheaHarper and @IrinaShabayeva. Tune in tonight for the finale show on Lifetime 9pm-10pm est.
