Fashion News: John Galliano Arrested

Christian Dior's PR team delivered a public statement, that John Galliano had been suspended from his position due to accusations that he made anti-Semitic remarks during an altercation a few days ago at a Cafe in Paris. There have been several statements made from eye witnessing, most stating Galliano did not make racist or anti-semitic statements and is being targeted. The French police are currently investigating the incident; however, the Christian Dior show is still scheduled to take place next Friday, March 4, in Paris.

Trend Alert: Nude

Nude is a HUGE color right now and all the stars are rocking it. Beyonce, Lauren Conrad and Kerry Washington are a few celebs who have been seen looking fab in nude this past week. Be sure you add a nude shoe (peep toe or platform) to your wardrobe this spring as well as a nude blouse or blazer.

Liya who has covered US Vogue 3 times was eleventh-highest-paid top model in the world in 2007 (earning 2.5 million dollars). Proving she is not just someone with a pretty face Liya Kebede has served as the WHO's Ambassador for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health since 2005. Kebede's big break arrive when Tom Ford offered an exclusive contract for his Gucci Fall/Winter 2000 fashion show. Her popularity in the fashion industry has since elevated and she is one of very few African models featured in major fashion photo shoots and runway shows.
